BBC American has a new series called Orphan Black that I am having a lot of fun watching. It is good and mindless (and I mean that in a laudatory way) and fast moving. It is a Prime example of Good Trash TV.

Broadchurch is a British TV series. I saw Season 1, Episodes 1-8, I did miss parts of the second episode, but it really didn't matter in the overall viewing of the show. There might be a Season 2 coming up.
